THE CRAZY 365 BIT...
This is where, as from the 1st May 2010, I shall be taking an image a day.
Not for one second am I expecting this area to contain any masterpieces, it's more of an ongoing project and, in some respects, a bit of photographic discipline.
I have joined a handful of fellow photographers from the PhotoPortal, some links of whom can be found below.
Tanya Lowe - Cast Vision 365
Sam Styles - SJS Daily
Chris Rees - Chris's 365 Project
Gary Neville - 365 Photographs

Tuesday 30th November 2010 - 'St. Andrews'
I especially borrowed this 'Tour T-shirt' from where I freelance, so I could wish the Scots a Happy St. Andrews Day.
Monday 29th November 2010 - 'Weathered'
Thought I'd opt for a bit of colour for a change... a rusty old bolt and padlock.
Sunday 28th November 2010 - 'Tiered'
Some voile curtain around our lounge window.
Saturday 27th November 2010 - 'Longitude and Latitude'
Straight shot of the kitchen blinds.
Friday 26th November 2010 - 'Lamplight'
Our bedroom lamp, creating some nice light and shadow areas.
Thursday 25th November 2010 - 'Press Story'
The flex of an iron and the legs of an ironing board.
Wednesday 24th November 2010 - 'Frothblower'
The froth on a pint glass.
Tuesday 23rd November 2010 - 'No Mixed Coin'
Several coin bags held against a window.
Monday 22nd November 2010 - 'The Drum'
Simple shot of the inside of our washing machine.
Sunday 21st November 2010 - 'Cutbacks'
Simple shot of some scissor handles.
Saturday 20th November 2010 - 'Spanner in the Works'
Had a visit to the Southwick Brewhouse this afternoon and took this shot whilst I was there.
Friday 19th November 2010 - 'Shade'
Simple shot of the lamp in our spare room.
Thursday 18th November 2010 - 'Propped'
The crutches that Tanya used whilst recovering from her bunion operation.
Wednesday 17th November 2010 - 'Raw Upload'
Following on from my long exposure the other day, I thought I'd try something a little daring but definitely acceptable...
Tuesday 16th November 2010 - 'Bollard'
Unfortunately, various things hindered my proposed two hundredth shot today, so I ended up making do with this shot, which I'd wanted to capture for quite some time, so all was not lost.
Monday 15th November 2010 - 'All Sere and Yellow'
Taken in Forestside, West Sussex, this afternoon. Title is from the poem, "I am the Autumnal Sun" by Henry David Thoreau.
Sunday 14th November 2010 - 'Keep Clear'
A shot of the side entrance to the old Gales Brewery in Horndean, Hampshire. It's been neglected ever since it shut down in 2006, to the point where it's an incredibly hazardous place to be. Sad to see such heritage go to wrack and ruin.
Saturday 13th November 2010 - 'Alter Ego'
Tanya, myself and James (another Havant Camera Club member) were stewarding at the club's 40th National Exhibition this morning. Whilst there, I took this unusual shot of myself... f25, 6 seconds, ISO400.
Friday 12th November 2010 - 'Fork Loads'
I walk past this almost every day, and the colours and slightly random pattern of it always catches my eye.
Just in case you wanted to know, it's the battery box on a forklift truck.
Thursday 11th November 2010 - 'Remember Those'
A poignant image for a very poignant day. Rest in peace.
Wednesday 10th November 2010 - 'Screw Top'
A macro shot of the top of a screw top plastic bottle.
Tuesday 9th November 2010 - '07:41'
An absolutely diabolical day weather-wise... had loads of localised flooding here and I took this before I set out for the morning. It reminds me of the grimness of winter really... cold, wet and dark, with the street lights still on. Horrible.
Monday 8th November 2010 - 'Moisten Needle'
My old football... 'tis a while since I had a good kick-about.
Sunday 7th November 2010 - 'Leigh Park House'
The remains of what was a huge mansion, demolished in the early 1950s.
Saturday 6th November 2010 - 'The Palette of Autumn'
Six of us, as well as two dogs, went to Waggoners Wells this morning, this being my favourite shot of the day.
Friday 5th November 2010 - 'Exit'
So tempted to call it 'Entrance', just to be plain awkward...
Thursday 4th November 2010 - 'Blind Spot'
This shot is comprised of our kitchen blinds, the front horizontal blurred shapes being the actual blinds and then the reflections and shadows of them in our opened kitchen window.
Wednesday 3rd November 2010 - 'Rush Hour'
Camera set on self-timer as I was driving through the rush hour traffic.
Tuesday 2nd November 2010 - 'Faultline'
Had a mare deliberating which image to post for today, hence the delay in posting this.
Monday 1st November 2010 - 'Solstice Lane'
The scenic road that joins Buriton and Idsworth in Hampshire.
