BUTSER VISTA

This shot is of the A3, a trunk road that connects Portsmouth and London. It was taken from Butser Hill, a chalk hill which is the highest summit in Hampshire, standing at 886ft high (270m) and qualifies as one of England's Marilyns. The huge irregularly shaped hill holds evidence suggesting both Bronze and Iron Age activity.
