The Isle of Man lies close to the geographical centre of
the British Isles.
It has its own government and although the Queen is head
of state, the crown is represented by a Lieutenant Governor.
The locals speak English although many also speak
Manx Gaelic which is a Goidelic language that diverged
from Middle Irish between the 10th and 17th centuries.

Within this gallery are fifteen of my photos taken around
the beautiful island.
