CALF OF MAN
The island on the horizon is the Calf of Man, which is located at the most southerly tip of the mainland. The small island is host to many breeding birds and has restricted access at different times of the year. It is possible to visit it by boat from either Port Erin or Port St. Mary. The small island immediately below the Calf is Kitterland, an island that has claimed many lives at sea. |
